In a small village, Daw Hla* was the sole provider for her children and extended family. After her husband was killed in the war, resources became painfully scarce, and each day was a battle for survival. They were forced to flee their home where their families had settled for generations. Living in an unfamiliar area as refugees, Daw Hla wondered how she and her family would find hope for their future again.
Then, a miracle unfolded through the local church’s Compassionate Aid ministry, fueled by generous gifts from partners like you. Daw Hla received vital food supplies from Pastor Aung* that filled her children’s stomachs for the first time in months. Her tears of gratitude were not just for the relief, but for the realization that she was not alone.
Pastor Aung shared God’s love in tangible ways while proclaiming the Good News of Christ. He explained, “This interaction with refugees made me realize that your help is very important. Because of your partnership, we had food to bring to them. The Lord will bless them through our actions, and many more people will feel love from the Heavenly Father.”
God’s love is at work through this ministry. Compassionate aid brings immediate help, as well as hope and dignity to those in need.
