Church Planters like Benet* face significant personal risk as they share Jesus in their country. Most communities in his area are deeply rooted in a different faith. Religious leaders often pose threats to Christians like him who are caught spreading the Gospel in towns and villages. Believers like Benet remain steadfast in the face of these challenges, finding ways to evade danger, bringing the peace of the Gospel in strife. They often preach in groups, safeguarding each other’s well-being to continue sharing the Good News with those who have never heard it before.
Remarkably, Benet’s evangelistic efforts reached some of his greatest adversaries. Twelve leaders from the local religion embraced Christianity after encountering the Gospel through Benet. One of these leaders had a vivid dream in which he and the other leaders encountered Jesus.
In the dream, the twelve were trapped inside a cave, desperately calling out for help. After much shouting, a man in white appeared alongside Benet at the cave’s entrance, saying, “Believe in me, I am Jesus, dressed in white for the twelve of you. All who believe in me will inherit eternal life. You will lead many to my kingdom.”
Upon waking, the leader sought out Benet to share his dream. Defying all expectations, the twelve religious leaders decided to follow Christ. Miraculous events like these occur through the bravery of leaders like Benet, who risk their safety to spread God’s message to all.
