Pastor Htin*’s community looked to him when crisis overtook. A major earthquake struck causing many homes to collapse. The country’s rainy season was upon them, leading to treasured belongings and food going to ruin without a proper structure or roof. Worst of all, many were beginning to starve in the wake of the disaster.
But Pastor Htin was no stranger to challenges – Christianity is often seen as a threat where he serves. He saw this tragedy as an opportunity to share the hope of Jesus with those who needed it most.
