A land of serene beauty and rich culture, is now engulfed in war and ongoing persecution. In this conflict-ridden country, where bombs shatter the peace, the Christian community faces tremendous hardships. Believers are easy targets for daring to live out their faith, their devotion met with hatred and violence. Yet, amidst the chaos, a flicker of hope remains as these resilient souls cling to their beliefs, displaying courage in the face of suffering.
One such individual is Pastor Myint*, a beacon of unwavering faith, her heart overflowing with the love and grace of God. Each morning, she rises with a profound purpose, knowing her gifts are entrusted by the Creator to serve His Kingdom. The road she walks as a church planter is fraught with danger, yet even in the darkest moments, a divine whisper reminds her of the strength only God can provide.
One profound moment in her ministry occurred during a visit to an amputee in a military hospital. Once distant from the church and lost in worldly distractions, he began seeking Jesus after losing his leg in battle. Pastor Myint shared the gospel, and as she spoke of Christ’s boundless love, his heart softened, and tears fell. “I have sinned against God and my family,” he confessed, his voice trembling. “I want to repent and ask for God’s forgiveness.”
As they prayed, peace washed over him, lifting the heavy burden he carried. Renewed, he promised to dedicate his life to the Lord, eager to equip himself with God’s Word and serve others.
