Isayas* dabbed the sweat from his brow as he toiled under the blazing sun. He and his wife worked tirelessly tending to their small coffee farm to support their family. Even with all their hard work, they struggled to ensure their children had clothes and enough to eat.
At the end of each long day, Isayas gathered his children to read Scripture and pray fervently for their community. He had a passion for the Gospel that exuded through all areas of his life ever since accepting Christ years ago. At great personal risk, every month he led a group from his church to evangelize to people needing the Saviour. Isayas longed to take his ministry a step further by using profits from his business. He imagined the ways he could make his farm provide not just for his family, but his church too.
When he heard that Micro-Business training was coming to his community through partners like you, Isayas knew this was his opportunity. He hoped this would be his chance to learn how to run his farm in a more efficient and profitable way to benefit the lives of his family and church.
Isayas was amazed by the depth and wisdom found in his Micro-Business lessons. Through this training, he and his wife decided to expand their business by raising chickens and selling their eggs and meat. He created a business plan, excited to imagine what the future could hold.
With his Micro- Business training and loan, Isayas purchased 45 chickens to raise. Now, his family’s life has dramatically improved already, as well as the lives those around him. Isayas is thrilled to increase his tithing to his church, as well as give away eggs from his farm to those in great need in his community. Isayas’s Micro- Business has not only blessed his own family, but the lives of those around him as he lives out the Gospel.
