Faith and Resilience Amidst War and Displacement

“The war destroyed our area, and we were forced to flee our homes. We had to leave in a hurry with limited clothes and food. Relatives were separated, houses were destroyed, and daily necessities were scarce.

We took refuge in a village in another province, living in an unused chicken coop. There are not enough medical facilities in the village, and children cannot get timely treatment when they are sick or injured.

We are persecuted for faith, and yet we care for others. We have almost nothing, and still we share with those around us. Your partnership is a life-line for us.

Through you, we are continuing our work as a church and reaching others going through the same difficulties as us. We gather to worship every day. Although there is no church building or formal ceremony, the awe and gratitude in our hearts is extremely real. We sing hymns and thank God for his grace. Even though life is difficult, we still have each other and can find peace and comfort in the Lord.

We believe that God must have His plan. Although we are in trouble now, these hardships are temporary. It is in these difficult times that we can better appreciate God’s presence and protection. Thank you for walking alongside us and empowering us to reach others.”
