Partner With a Pastor

Partner with a pastor who is experiencing persecution or hardship.

In many parts of the world churches face real adversity. Being a Christian can cost you you everything. Under the threat of persecution, abuse, war, and economic crises, pastors serve their churches and communities in powerful ways! Pastors feel this weight of responsibility, often while trying to provide for their own families who are suffering too.

For 50 years, WorldServe has invited people to be part of strengthening the persecuted church!

How Do I Partner?

Partnering with a Pastor creates a sponsorship between you and a specific pastor in a difficult region who needs your encouragement and support. You become part of their ministry and family by offering prayer and financial support. Your partnership helps them bring hope to their community as they live out the Gospel.

  1. Consider becoming a key partner for a pastor who needs your encouragement and support.
  2. Determine your monthly/annual partnership amount. 90% of your gift goes directly to the pastor, with 10% needed to orchestrate and oversee. Typically a pastor partnership is $55/month, but it can be any gift amount and we’ll combine multiple partnerships to support a pastor as needed.
  3. We will partner you with a specific pastor and send you a pastor profile. You’ll get to meet them through a brief overview of their story, family and ministry!
  4. You’ll also receive ministry updates from your partnered pastor approximately every 6 months when conditions permit.
  5. Your generosity and prayers are a lifeline for those who endure hardship. Thank you!
