Moti* faced countless acts of harassment and racism throughout his young life. He was filled with anger towards God and others for the abuse he endured. Things only escalated when war began in his country. Moti and his people were arrested, beaten, and kept in caves while being forced to do hard labour.
He found a chance to escape after an explosion happened. Moti discovered many of his loved ones had died including his parents and sister. In the wake of his grief, his hatred for others and desire for revenge grew stronger than ever.
You gave him a chance to encounter God’s love by offering Trauma Healing to Moti and others like him living in persecuted regions.
Moti said, “I knelt at the cross not expecting anything, but then I began to weep very loudly. I felt hands on my shoulder and heard praying. The presence of Jesus Himself was evident for the first time in my life. I was filled with a calm beautiful peace in my heart.”
For the first time Moti experienced a love that overtook the hatred he felt for years towards those who persecuted him. The God he once despised was ministering to his weary soul and offering him hope.
Moti is so grateful to you for offering him life-changing Trauma Healing. “I felt like I was a completely a different person. I looked at people around me with compassion and felt the presence of the God whom I resented for years. He was all around me. Hatred and revenge consumed me before but now I’m consumed with love for others. This is a miracle.”
