Aung Finds Hope and Home Amidst Chaos

Aung* found himself abandoned by his mother after she remarried. At only 10, he was left to navigate the harsh realities of life on his own. A violent war also raged around him, threatening to harm, conscript, or abuse him. He was always alert and ready to flee at any moment. For a while he lived with his aunt and uncle but had no way of accessing an education in the tiny village.

Amidst the darkness, a glimmer of hope emerged. Because of your support, the Children’s Care Home opened its doors to Aung, offering him shelter, love, and a chance of a brighter future! The pastor who runs the home quickly became like a father to him, providing guidance and support when he needed it most.

But it wasn’t just earthly connections that brought Aung hope; it was his newfound faith in God that truly transformed his life. Through daily lessons and conversations with the pastor, he learned about God’s love and grace. This knowledge filled him with strength and resilience as he faced adversity. Where Aung lives, Christianity is a minority religion that faces persecution. Christian churches and communities can be attacked and destroyed. Your partnership helps Aung build a strong foundation of faith in a safe home.

At the Children’s Care Home, Aung discovered both a haven and an opportunity for education. He dreams of becoming a doctor, a goal that’s achievable with the schooling he’s receiving thanks to you.

Your partnership with Aung stands as a testament to the power of God’s love!
