“My name is Ko Ma*, and I am a 17-year-old girl.
I want to thank you for your prayers and for supporting me. Our family lives in poverty in a small village. I realized that due to our financial situation, I wouldn’t be able to keep going to school and our family would be trapped by poverty as a result. I prayed in tears, asking God for ways and means to continue schooling. God opened a way for me to join the Children’s Care Home, which is where I’m continuing my education thanks to your generosity!
I’m very happy to live here at the Children’s Care Home. My needs are all met (like food, clothes, and school supplies) so that I can focus on my studies. We’re learning our school lessons right here in the Home with the help of teachers. I’m doing my best in all my school subjects so that in the future I can achieve my dream of becoming a medical doctor.
I’m thankful to everyone who lifts me up in prayer, including my family, the pastor who founded the Children’s Care Home, my teachers, and you. You all help me in many different ways and enrich my life. Above all, I give thanks to Jesus, who saved me by His grace. Back at home in my village, I used to be afraid of being attacked for my Christian faith. Today, I boldly read scriptures and sing in front of the congregation at church. I’m no longer afraid of talking about my faith openly!
I ask for your continued prayers and support. Thank you for investing in my present and my future. May God bless you!”
